This instrument has the explorer 23 Shepherd's hook coupled with a 3-6-9-12 mm Probe 12. Explorers are manufactured with spring steel tips to provide convenient interproximal access. Tensile strength and flexibility is maintained giving the practitioner better feel for decay and tooth anomalies.
The ergonomically designed handle is solid resin; weighing in at only 13 grams it makes PDT instruments some of the lightest and most comfortable on the market.
