Current Innovations in Bone Grafting Seminar Announced
We are pleased to announce that the latest EthOss® Bone Grafting event will take place on Saturday 10 December at Twickenham Stadium, London.
Entitled ‘Current Innovations in Bone Grafting: Evaluating modern tools, treatment techniques & graft materials to achieve optimal success rates’, this full-day seminar will feature expert speakers discussing how they achieve consistent, predictable results using modern biomaterials, the latest techniques and innovative new tools.
What to Expect
Presented by world-renowned clinician and EthOss co-founder Dr Peter Fairbairn, this latest seminar will focus on the use of EthOss® in bone grafting procedures. Dr Fairbairn will be joined by guest speakers Dr Irfan Abas (Netherlands) and Dr Octavian Fagaras (Romania), who will present a number of cases from their own experiences.
A passionate implant surgeon and restorative dentist, Dr Abas will be discussing the challenges associated with placing dental implants and bone augmentation. During this deep delve into a subject close to his heart, Dr Abas will examine common bone materials and membranes, as well as synthetic bone materials.
The seminar will also feature Dr Octavian Fagaras’ experiences with EthOss® during his lecture entitled ‘Using EthOss in challenging indications including maintaining bone volume post-extraction in immediate loaded implants’.
Dr Fairbairn will host two lectures. The first, Advanced Treatment Techniques: Suture tenting technique to increase graft stability, will focus on the ‘suture tenting technique’ popularised by Dr Michael Ainsworth (UK) where resorbable 2-0 PDS Sutures are used to reinforce graft stability in challenging cases.
The second will see Dr Fairbairn looking at new tools for improving emergence profiles, including customised healing abutments. He will showcase several cases highlighting innovations alongside immediate implant placement and grafting to achieve optimal results.
